ORRC @ Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park

Description

Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park is an odd combination of two national parks combined into one park. At the northern end, with its corresponding northern entrance station, there is the Kings Canyon area. Some of the largest and tallest trees in the world can be found here, including the world’s second largest tree (by volume) named the General Grant tree. The southern entrance leads directly into the Sequoia area, where the largest tree (by volume) named the General Sherman tree, can be found. The two parks are connected by a well-maintained road in between, with no fee collection stations in between.
