ORRC @ Sidewinder Canyon, Heartbreak Ridge, Burns Canyon, Broom Flat

Description

This was a pleasant run through a less-traveled area of San Bernardino National Forest. Much of this route required 4WD, with some obstacles that needed some type of traction control device (ie locking differentials, limited-slip differentials, electronically-controlled traction control system, etc.). With the Dodge Ram, certain spots were very tight but still passable, and one spot required pivoting around a boulder using the rock slider. The Toyota Tacoma and Jeep Wrangler JL, both with suspension modifications and 37″ tires, made it through with minimal effort. The Nissan Frontier had no aftermarket modifications, and it had old BFG KO2 31″ tires. Fortunately, the Frontier had factory rear lockers, which was required in several sections along this route.
